Lorenza Ragnolini

Lorenza Ragnolini concentrates her practice on investment funds and financial services law and regulation. She also regularly advises banks and financial institutions on financial transactions and debt restructurings.

Before joining Trancura Legal, Lorenza practised law in the Structured Finance Department of a major New York law firm in London and was in-house counsel of a FTSE 100 company specialized in sophisticated trustee, directors, and corporate services. Prior to this, Lorenza worked in the Investment Funds and Financial Services Department of a full-service English law firm in London.

In the early 2000s, Lorenza worked as associate in a major Verona-based law firm focusing on insolvency, corporate and commercial matters.

Lorenza was also a research assistant at the British Institute of International and Comparative Law in London, where she focused on financial services regulation, including MiFID, banking consolidation, money laundering and the law of secured transactions.

Lorenza holds law degrees from the University of Bologna and a master degree at King’s College London in Banking and Finance Law. She is qualified in Italy.
